About the Oslo Crows

Started in 2008, the Oslo Crows were one of the first AFL teams here in Norway. Whilst Oslo didn’t have quite the same facilities and large grounds for AFL, though, it did have numerous football and rugby grounds and a population crying out for a more physical and challenging sport! What is AFL?

Australian rules football – also knows as Aussie rules, or just “footy” – is a team contact sport in which the objective is to kick an oval shaped ball between goal posts at each end of the field. Today was a very special occasion for club president Sebastian Muller, as he got the pleasure of being interviewed live on Australian prime-time radio (which, unfortunately equated to about 6am Oslo time!) European Champions League

AFL Europe have confirmed the 7th of April as the date of Champion’s League this year in Amsterdam. They look forward to seeing us and our beanies for a good on\off field performance.
